Wildcats defeated Sugar-Salem 10-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Gracie Brooks struck out W Bradshaw to finish off the game.
Wildcats fired up the offense in the first inning. Nikaela Higley drove in one when Higley singled.

Sami Taylor pitched Wildcats to victory. Taylor allowed three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking zero. Brooks threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Pocock took the loss for Sugar-Salem. The pitcher allowed 12 hits and ten runs over four and a third innings, striking out two.
Wildcats tallied one home run on the day. Taylor went yard in the second inning.
Wildcats tallied 12 hits. McCarty Stoddard, Taylor, and Higley all managed multiple hits for Wildcats. Taylor and Stoddard each collected three hits to lead Wildcats.
